Halfling rogue, chaotic-neutral. She's 3 feet tall, weighs 40 pounds; dark brown hair, brown eyes and tanned skin. Weapon of choice is a mace (which she's holding, but is mostly hidden in this picture), and she fights alongside her halfling sorcerer partner, Copper (Nick).
[Edit: To anyone who plays D&D and were sharp enough to notice... Yes I am aware that halflings aren't allowed to wear chainmail. But I hated the thought of Duckie's chest being vunerable! So, for the sake of the image, let's pretend they can.]
The lineart took somewhere between 20-30 hours, and the colouring took somewhere between 10-20... Yeah, strange - the colouring usually takes longer for me. I was really focused on details this time around, which is why I think it took me so damn long! When I was about half way through the lineart, I almost scrapped the idea of finishing it, just because it was going so slowly - but I knew it would pay off. YAY!
This is the first time I've used a stock photo for the background that wasn't my own picture. It belongs to ~SunStock, and the photo I used can be seen here.
Haflings rule theeee world! Have you played 4th edition? =3 they're kinda cooler heehee. Hate how you everyone can't duel-wield anymore v.v Duel-wield sneak attack was love.
I haven't played v4, and I don't really intend to. I've invested a lot of money in v3.5 and I have no reason to change. Besides, I haven't heard the greatest reviews about v4, to be honest...
o.o! Silly me! I thought I commented on the art DX So sorry! Hehe I think she looks gorgeous btw! I love the splatter on her clothes ^_^ The tattoos look very cool too. Very nice intricate designs.
True, but it was like that when 3.0 came out. x3 No one ever likes the new edition heh. No I totally understand, it gets way to expensive -.-.
