So, for those of you who have seen the Phantom of the Opera movie, hopefully you'll recognize who this is. Yes, it's the little slut, Christine (haha, sorry, had to). I was watching it, and the lighting they use is amazing, so I decided to see if I could play around with it. Originally, I wanted to pick a scene where the lighting was blue, but I couldn't find any screenshots of what I was looking for - but I definitely found something worth using.
I don't even know how long I spent on this, but my arm, neck and back are KILLING me!
I don't like how her hand turned out - but no matter how hard I tried, it still looked like crap. This is the best I could manage. Ah well. The rest I'm quite pleased with. Though, the patterns in the shall and the lace weren't within my photoshoping skills, so I made 'em my own (background, too). As for the hair... I didn't feel like doing curly hair, so I made it whispy instead. Yessir.

It looks so soft! And from my favourite song section too (Past the Point of No Return...) ... I still get shivers thinking about it when I saw it on stage. Not quite the same as on screen, but still a beautiful version.
Back to your painting... I like the use of wisps instead of curls, it looks like the fire that consumes that scene. It is a neat creative choice.
